Logos & Graphic Elements

The Kalix graphic profile is the common thread in the work of highlighting the place and the values that define Kalix. The graphic profile is free to use, but there are a few things to keep in mind. You can read more about usage conditions under Usage Rights.

Logos and graphic material are available for both digital use and print. In the library, the material is organised into folders for Digital and Print. If you are unsure which file format is best for your printed material, you can read more in the PDF File Format Guide, or ask your print provider which format they prefer.

Logos

The graphic element of the degree symbol (°) in the Kalix logo represents the place’s geographical location, its closeness to outdoor life, the midnight sun, and Kalix Löjrom. The logo is available in orange, pink, grey-blue, dark blue, green, and white. You can choose freely between the different colours, and the different versions of the logo may be used in all contexts. Make sure you choose a colour that stands clearly from its background. For example, the white logo works best on backgrounds with high contrast.

Colours

Our colour palette includes colours inspired by our closeness to nature — the sea, rivers, forests, and Kalix Löjrom.

Fonts

Miriam Libre is used for headings and larger subheadings. It is free to use and can be downloaded via Google Fonts. Arial is used for body text, introductions, and smaller subheadings. Arial is a standard font available on all computers.

Graphic Element – The X

The X can be used as a graphic element and as a Kalix marker in various contexts.

The X can also be customised specifically for you by adding the village, business, or visitor destination in Kalix that you want to highlight. Use our ready-made templates to create a Kalix-branded marker that helps position and promote both your activity and Kalix.

The coordinates in the X are based on the WGS84 system. You can find your coordinates using map services such as Eniro, Hitta, or Google Maps.

The text is placed next to the degree symbol, as shown in the examples. Both Miriam Libre Bold and Arial Bold can be used, but Miriam Libre Bold is preferred.

Profile Pattern

Our pattern is available in two colour versions — choose the one that best suits your purpose. The pattern can be used on its own, repeated, or cropped.

The Wave

The wave is a graphic element that can be used as a divider, text box, shape, border for a block, or similar.

Maps

Maps can be used when you want to show where Kalix is located in the world and what is nearby and in our surrounding areas.
